Cowboys fans are once again asking why this couldn’t have happened for them.
On Sunday, the Rams Rams saw the entirety of their 27–3 second-half lead evaporate through a series of self-inflicted wounds, bizarre turnovers, and the brilliance from Tampa Bay’s Tom Brady, who guided the Bucs to a game-tying score with 42 seconds to play.
The gamke seemed destined for overtime, but Matthew Stafford had other ideas as he took the field with one timeout and found his good buddy Cooper Kupp on a 44-yard strike down the middle of the field. What happened after that play is what has people talking.
Stafford could be seen feverishly telling everybody to get to the line to spike the ball, which prompted Cowboys fans to notice that the umpire trailing the play never touched the ball.
In fact, it was another official that was closer to the ball who actually touched it, which prompted even more questions from Cowboys fans.

It was the biggest play of Stafford’s life, giving the Rams the win after they blew a 24-point lead. The game winning field goal sent the Rams to the NFC Championship Game.
