Why would the Dallas Cowboys tweet this out??
On Wednesday evening, the Cowboys Twitter account shared that starting QB Dak Prescott would undergo another precautionary MRI on his shoulder. While announcing it, they tried extremely hard to downplay the fact that their starting quarterback was going to have another test done.
“It’s not a setback. And it’s not a reason to worry. But QB Dak Prescott is planning on getting another MRI,” the tweet read.
Safe to say, Cowboys fans and others lost their minds:

Prescott spoke with the media earlier on Wednesday and echoed that he would be ready by early September.
“Once I get back in the team setting, I’m not going to think about my arm,” Prescott said, via the team’s press release. “It’s about progressing at the right time. It all felt good out there. Every throw I made. When they tell you stop, you don’t want to hear it, but you (stop).
“Once Sept. 9 comes, I’ll move forward and won’t think about this again.”
