Friday was indeed a good day for DeMarcus Lawrence.
After a back-and-forth stalemate between the him and the Dallas Cowboys front office, the two sides finally agreed on a long-term deal that would get him 5-years, $105M, with $65 million guaranteed.
Shortly after the news broke, the Cowboys defensive end took to Twitter and hilariously responded to his new money:
The Cowboys used the franchise tag on Lawrence for a second consecutive year, but the defensive end had no plans to sign the $20.5 million tag for 2019.
Lawrence has had 25 sacks and six forced fumbles in the past two seasons.
