The XFL version 2.0 appears to be no more, with the league shutting down all of their operations and laying off all of their employees on Friday.
With the unfortunate news coming down, DeMarcus Lawrence of the Dallas Cowboys took to Twitter and presented a grand idea to revive the league.
The XFL was doing everything right this time around, but nobody could’ve predicted a global pandemic would bring the entire Earth to a standstill.
Hopefully, many of the players can continue to get signed by NFL teams, but it just sucks for other players who saw this league is their final chance to showcase their talent and now it’s gone again.
