Often times, athletes sign a plethora of items, so they’re used to signing and moving on. Unfortunately for Dallas Cowboys’ Quarterback Dak Prescott, he got so caught up that he didn’t realize what he signed.
Prescott was sing different items for fans recently, when he was handed a hat. He signed it before realizing the hat he signed wasn’t a Cowboys hat, but a Green Bay Packers hat. Prescott immediately recognized what happened, and his reaction was priceless.
When surrounded by fans who are giving different items to sign, there’s nobody to screen them for you and you’re on your own. Prescott was caught up in the moment and doing a good thing by signing before he realized his mistake. Now a fan has a Green Bay hat signed by a Cowboy.
The Cowboys and the Packers have had a decades long rivalry that the latter currently lead the all time series in with a 21-17 record. Green Bay currently holds a 4 game winning streak over the Cowboys and look to continue this streak with new starter Jordan Love.
Though they don’t play in the regular season, Prescott will need to hold on to this memory for next time.
