On Sunday, the Washington Commanders hosted the Dallas Cowboys in their season finale with the NFC East title on the line. The Dallas Cowboys had little trouble in this game.
Outside of the game at a restaurant, an argument would break out between opposing fans.
At Jasper’s Restaurant in Largo, Maryland, a heated argument over the Commanders-Cowboys game would lead to violence and a life hanging in the balance.
An argument inside led to a confrontation in the parking lot. One man would be shot in the back as a result. Reports state the man was dropped off by a private vehicle and the SUV would speed away soon afterward.
That unknown man is in critical condition.

Police have not yet identified any suspects or persons of interest in this shooting.
After the Washington Commanders ended their disappointing season with a 38-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, the team fired head coach Ron Rivera.
The silver lining is the loss and record of 4-13 secured the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL draft. That gives the expected next regime in charge the opportunity to select one of the top two quarterback prospects available: USC’s Caleb Williams or North Carolina’s Drake Maye.
It’s the same pick the Houston Texans used last year on C.J. Stroud, the QB who got them to the playoffs after going 3-13-1 in 2022.
The Commanders lost their final eight games of the year.
