Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Darian Lassiter has put the Green Bay Packers on blast, accusing them of disrespecting the home dancers during their win on Sunday.
Lassiter took to social media to make claims of Packers players getting in cheerleaders’ faces and taunting them whenever they got into the end zone.
“I have never experienced such disrespect from the other teams’ players to the cheerleaders in my five years as an NFL cheerleader,” she said in a video shared to TikTok.
“We would be minding our own business and the Packers would score a touchdown, and they would come up to us — standing on the sidelines, minding our own business, and start yelling at us.”
“Also I feel like that’s unsportsmanlike conduct and it’s so crazy how they can’t do that to the Cowboys players or any other players, but they can do it to the cheerleaders and nothing is going to happen,” she added. “I understand the playoffs is a huge deal, like I truly get it, but that does not mean your humbleness and respect for women flies out the window.”
Jensen Merril, another Cowboys cheerleader, claimed she was “literally was on the verge of tears,” because of the taunts.
It appears Cowboys players weren’t the only ones having a hard time on the field during the crushing loss as their dancers had it bad on two fronts.
It will be interesting to see whether Green Bay responds to this.
