A Monday night football viewing turned violent for two San Antonio residents, who allegedly ended up getting into an altercation over the game.
San Antonio police told local station KSAT that the men involved were in their 50s.
The men lived close to each other, said police, and got into an argument over noise while watching the Dallas Cowboys take on the Los Angeles Chargers.
Police said the two men started fighting and both pulled out knives to stab each other multiple times.
One of the men was taken by ambulance to Brooke Army Medical Center, while the other was taken to University Hospital. Despite the stab wounds, both are expected to survive.
It remains unclear what charges each man faces. The names of the men involved in the altercation have not yet been released.
