Deandre Baker and Quinton Dunbar might be getting off scott-free after all.
DeAndre Baker of the New York Giants and Quinton Dunbar of the Seattle Seahawks turned themselves into police on Saturday on warrants for armed robbery after being accused of robbing an illegal dice game with 15-20 attendees in Miramar, Florida earlier this week.
Baker allegedly pulled out a gun and told Dunbar and the third man, to start robbing the other guests. Baker also reportedly told the 3rd man to shoot someone who just entered the party, but no shots were fired.
Lawyers for both Baker and Dunbar maintained at the bail hearing that their clients were innocent of all charges and stated they had witnesses to back them up.
Fox & CBS Sports legal analyst Amy Dash added in a series of tweets that if the cops no longer have witnesses, and there are no videos, this case is likely over.

The prosecutor found it “suspect” that the new affidavits from the same witnesses said something completely different than what those same people told to cops originally. They basically recanted their original statements 36 hours after speaking to police.
“At some point there was an argument that arose between some of the parties that were playing the dice game,” it read, via ESPN. “I was never in fear for my life in any situation that happened that day and DeAndre Baker did not take any property from me and did not point a gun at anyone.”
What a drastic turn of events.
