The Rams remain optimistic that star receiver Cooper Kupp can return from injured reserve next week. Cooper Kupp has yet to appear for the Los Angeles Rams this season after having a standout season in 2022.
Rams coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that “the hope” is that Kupp is able to come off injured reserve after Week 4, but not everybody believes that to be the case.
A prominent NFL doctor thinks something bigger is going on with Kupp’s health.
“Something’s fishy about this.”
Kupp was placed on injured reserve just before the start of the season due to a lingering hamstring issue. The star receiver had seen a specialist in the hope of making the recurring problem go away for good.
Having the 30-year-old unavailable for the first four games of the season has already proven to be a tough blow for the Rams’ offense despite the team averaging the fourth-most passing yards per game in the NFL.

The Rams are 1-2 on the year, and although they have been competitive in both of their defeats, they could probably make even more noise having their star WR.
