Cooper Kupp will return to practice this week, though that doesn’t mean he’ll be ready to play in Week 5.
The Los Angeles Rams wide receiver, who suffered a setback while recovering from an Aug. 1 hamstring injury, has yet to play a game this year and an NFL doctor thinks something is really wrong.
Jesse Moore took to X and alluded to something fishy going on with Cupp and he broke it down on the latest report about how he is not even 80% healthy as of yet.
He also gave a timeline on how Kupp strained his hamstring on August 1st and after going through rehab for four weeks, he would reinjure it 4 weeks later at the end of the month and then visit a specialist early last month.

Kupp is two years removed from a sensational 2021 campaign when he snagged 145 passes for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns. He started hot again last year with 75 catches for 812 yards and six scores in nine games but suffered a season-ending high ankle sprain that required surgery.
Kupp is a tremendous talent who would be missed on the Rams offense this year if not for the emergence of Puka Nacua. Either way, him being on the field would open up the offense so much more.
The Rams are 2-2 to start the year which is the best they could ask for given the circumstances.
