Rob Gronkowski is no stranger to performing under pressure, but it’s usually with him at the tight end position.
During a live Super Bowl commercial for FanDuel, Gronkowski failed to connect on a 25-yard field goal, at least that is what Fan Duel told everybody. However, there’s a growing belief that the kick was actually good and that the whole thing may have even been staged.
The former Patriots tight end took to the gridiron during the third quarter of Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Eagles and Chiefs. His kick appeared to be outside the uprights.
If Gronkowski did split the uprights, FanDuel users would have been able to split a prize pool of $10 million in free bets. They would soon announce that qualified users would still get a piece of that large pot of cash.

Whether he made or missed it, FanDuel pledged to give away free bets to everyone who wagered on it no matter what the outcome was.
