On Monday, it was announced the Kansas City Chiefs had agreed to a 10-year contract extension with QB Patrick Mahomes. Only thing we needed to see were the numbers on the mega deal and when they released, it was beyond eye-popping.
The former former first-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2017 was currently in the final year of a four-year, $16.4 million contract before this new deal came about.
Mahomes put up 4,031 yards to go along with 26 touchdowns and five interceptions during the 2019 season.

He has also rushed for 218 yards and two touchdowns.
All Mahomes has done during his career is win the league MVP and the Offensive Player of the Year in 2018 behind 5,097 passing yards, 50 touchdown throws and 12 interceptions while reaching the AFC Championship game.
He took it to the next level during the 2019 campaign as a Super Bowl champion and MVP after he earned his second Pro Bowl nod with 4,031 passing yards, 26 touchdown throws and five picks.
