Friday was indeed a good day for DeMarcus Lawrence.
The stalemate between the defensive end and the Dallas Cowboys front office finally ended after he was awarded a five-year, $105 million deal.
Just like any other NFL contract, there are way more particulars in that contract that came out later on in the day.
Lawrence, 26, is a former 2nd-round pick of the Cowboys in 2014 out of Boise State. In 2018, Lawrence appeared in all 16 games and recorded 64 tackles, 10.5 sacks, 1 interception, 2 forced fumbles, a recovery and a pass defense. He was EVERYWHERE!
I think it’s safe to say that he was definitely worth the money spent.
