Derrick Henry deserved this contract.
Just before the deadline to agree to a contract extension, Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans were said to have agreed to an extension that will keep him with the team for years to come.
According to FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer, Henry and the team have agreed to terms on a four-year deal.
Shortly after the years announced, the contract details were put out:
At 1,540 yards in 2019, Henry led the NFL in rushing yards this past season and turned into a complete animal in the postseason as he rushed 83 times for 446 yards (5.4 average) and scored two touchdowns in three games.
