We now have conflicting reports as to what Dak Prescott wants in his new contract and whether he turned down a massive deal already from the Dallas Cowboys.
On Monday, NFL Network’s Jane Slater reported that Prescott had turned down a $30M annual deal down from the Cowboys and was looking for a contract that he paid him $40M annually, which would make him the highest paid quarterback in the league.
Social media lost their minds for like 20 minutes before Pro football Talk and Chris Mortensen would extinguish the flames and report that Dak had not turned down a deal, nor ask for $40M in return.
“A PFT source quickly shot down the report, saying it is false based on either new money or total value at signing.”
