The NFL has unveiled its full 18-week slate for the upcoming 2023 regular season, so every team in the league now knows its path forward to fight for a playoff spot.
While some teams have high expectations, many likely know they will be at the bottom of their divisions whether they want to admit it or not.
For a bunch of teams, they will have games in front of the entire country as they’ve been slotted inside a prime-time window on either Thursday, Sunday, or Monday night. However, there are also teams that the NFL doesn’t really care about.
Four teams were not given a single prime-time game this season: Colts, Cardinals, Texans, and Falcons.
An ESPN analyst used a computer model to predict win totals for the upcoming season, and neither of those teams were predicted to have the worst record.
ESPN’s Mike Clay has the Rams projected to win 4.9 games this season, while the over/under on their win total is 7.5.
“With a limited number of draft picks, a coach who may retire soon, and an aging quarterback, the Rams are facing some serious challenges. In addition, their defense wasn’t great last season and is likely to take a step back this season,” Clay said.

Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Cooper Krupp will be healthy this year, but the team did much of nothing in 2022 when they were healthy as well.
The Rams were coming off a Super Bowl victory and became one of the worst defending champs in recent memory. Things are not looking up for the future of the franchise.
The best outlook is that the team may be bad enough to possibly land USC quarterback Caleb Williams in next year’s draft.
