Washington Commanders fans are back in full force following the departure of Dan Snyder.
Snyder’s reign as team owner was nothing sort of atrocious, with multiple scandals surfacing during his tenure. The team is now under new management, with a bid from a group led by Josh Harris getting approved earlier this month.
As reports indicate, Washington has already generated more ticket sales since the takeover than it did all of last season. The new ownership group has quickly become fan favorites – though, to be fair, Snyder set the bar very low.
Still, Harris has made it a priority to make the supporters happy and that’s already become evident as the team announced new bleachers at their training camp facility in Ashburn, Virginia before practice started. Fans had already become used to bringing their own chairs if they wanted to sit.
The practice has since been outlawed given the recent unveiling of a new seating area. The $10 fee charged to come in and watch the players train has also been removed. And the response, as you could see in the video below, has been overwhelming.
