The Snyder family is just getting blasted from everywhere, and they are certainly bringing it upon themselves.
With owner Daniel Snyder facing a growing push to force him out, his wife is now being blasted for something she said.
Ahead of the Commanders’ game against the Green Bay Packers Sunday, co-owner Tanya Snyder gave a speech introducing team legends Art Monk, Doug Williams, and Mark Rypien. She would soon wrap up her speech with a “Hail to the Redskins,” as per video tweeted by Sam Fortier of The Washington Post:
“Hail to the Redskins, and let’s beat Green Bay.”
Back in 2020, after decades of pressure, the Washington NFL franchise retired its “Redskins” name and changed to the temporary “Washington Football Team.” This February, they changed the name to the Commanders.
A “Hail to the Redskins” from Tanya Snyder upset fans online.
