Washington Commanders cornerback Emmanuel Forbes has the internet concerned about his weight. But lots of fans are also joking about his skinny legs.
A photo of the player posing for a snap with a young fan is going viral online as he looks way undersized, even for a CB.
Check it out below:
“How does someone enter the nfl with an obvious weight disadvantage and somehow manages to enter year 2 looking even smaller,” a fan wondered.

Emmanuel Forbes Left Plenty To Be Desired In His First Season
Emmanuel Forbes weighed 166 pounds at the NFL Combine in 2023 and doesn’t appear to be much bigger a year on.
The Commanders selected him in the first round in a bid to shore up the biggest defensive problem from the previous campaign, having finished 2022 as the 26th-ranked team in turnover differential and 28th in interceptions.
Having registered 14 INTs, 22 pass breakups, and 149 tackles in three seasons at Mississippi State, he joined the Commanders with a burgeoning reputation. He also led the FBS in picks leading to touchdowns during the aforementioned span with a record number of six.
However, he had a very inconsistent first season in the pros.
Forbes had an impressive debut for Washington, allowing one catch and eight yards on three targets. But he gave up 197 yards and two touchdowns to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J.Brown, who made nine catches, three weeks later.
He was benched in an outing against the Atlanta Falcons two games later.
“I’ve never been benched before,” he said then. “But it was like a learning experience. Luckily, I talked to my guy, [Eagles cornerback] Darius Slay, and he’s been benched before, and he said to just keep my head up and keep coming to work.”
With the Commanders now working under a new coaching staff, Forbes will hope he can replicate the form he showed in college in 2024.
