One of the “off-limits” topics for “The Roast of Tom Brady” on Sunday was brought up anyway.
Tom Brady agreed to the Netflix special in which high-profile celebrities got to take their turn roasting the seven-time Super Bowl champion. The event was hosted by legendary comedian Kevin Hart and included appearances from Kim Kardashian, Jeff Ross, Andrew Schulz, Tom Segura, Nikki Glaser, Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft, Peyton Manning, Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski.
One of the more notable roasts of the night was when Ross made a joke about Kraft giving Brady a massage. In Feb. 2019, the Patriots owner was charged with soliciting prostitution, though they were dropped in Sept. 2020. Ross’ roast was a major talking point, because it prompted Brady to go on stage and warn him not to say that again.
Speaking on the newest episode of “Flagrant”, Schulz stated that they were instructed not to make any jokes about Kraft leading up to “The Roast of Tom Brady.” As such, Schulz believes that Brady was legitimately upset when Ross made the massage joke:
“I think that was 100 percent real. The reason why I think it’s real is cause they told us no jokes about happy endings with Bob Kraft…I had a Bob Kraft tag…and they’re like ‘Tom asked us not to to anything with the massage (expletive).'”

Ross himself claimed that Brady wasn’t at all upset and that Kraft was a good sport throughout the evening. But after hearing Schulz’s story, it appears that Brady genuinely was upset with Ross mentioning the off-limits topic.
Tom Brady Is Ready For Show Business
Tom Brady was a good sport about the long list of savage roasts thrown his way throughout the evening, but the 46-year-old also got to enjoy clapping back at the likes of Manning, Kardashian and even the NFL (when he confessed to Deflategate).
This was obviously a good warmup for Brady in front of the cameras, because he’s set to join the “NFL on FOX” broadcast booth this fall. The three-time league MVP will work alongside Kevin Burkhardt and Erin Andrews every Sunday for five months, beginning in September.
