The Dallas Cowboys are bringing in a big name on defense.
The team has traded for Pro Bowl cornerback Stephon Gilmore in a deal with the Indianapolis Colts that will send back a fifth-round compensatory pick for the 2023 NFL draft, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Gilmore is going into his age-33 season but played well in 2022. He will pair with Trevon Diggs in Dallas, which lost multiple cornerback regulars last season.
In 2022, Stephon Gilmore appeared in 16 games for the Colts and recorded 66 tackles, two interceptions and 11 pass defenses.
