The Indianapolis Colts have been very busy shedding players off their roster.
Just a few days ago, the team waived running back Darrynton Evans, running back Aaron Shampklin, cornerback David Vereen and wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson.
They were hardly finished as they continued on Thursday.
Defensive end Kameron Cline, tight end Nikola Kalinic, linebacker Forrest Rhyne, defensive tackle Chris Williams, and tight end Jalen Wydermyer have all been released.
Cline played in three games for the Colts last season, which was his third with the team. He only recorded one tackle.
After his rookie NFL season, Kalinic had one special teams return.

Wydermyer did not play during the 2022 regular season.
The Indianapolis Colts are headed into a new era after selecting Florida Gators quarterback Anthony Richardson in Round 1 of the 2023 NFL Draft with the No. 4 overall pick.
After several seasons of electing to look in the direction of one-year rental quarterbacks, bringing in Philip Rivers, Carson Wentz, and Matt Ryan, the Colts’ new leadership of former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen is hoping Richardson will be their guy for many years to come.
