When on the football field, Darius Leonard is a force to be reckoned with. Off the field, a woman described Leonard as an angel who came to her rescue.
The Indianapolis Colts linebacker recently spotted a stranded woman on the side of the road, so naturally, he stopped and changed that woman’s tire.
According to the Indy Star, the woman wasn’t a stranger at all as she was once his biology teacher in high school:
“He knew it was me,” she said. “If I had been a complete stranger, he still would have done it anyway. He cares enough to help anyone.”
She also added that he had some skills with the jack:
“Oh, he was real quick. The biggest issue was the jack. I had a pitiful jack and he worked with that jack until he got it right,” she said. “He wanted to make sure I had what I needed and was safe before he left.”

“Thank the Lord for angels…” she says to him. Isbell made it to church for Easter.
“And he just kept going,” she said, “like it was nothing.”
