The Indianapolis Colts could use some extra firepower in their offense after drafting Anthony Richardson this year.
The Colts finished third in the AFC South last season as they posted a dismal 4-12 record and they could be headed into a campaign in which they show some improvement, having gone for Richardson in the draft while also acquiring Gardner Minshew.
Both quarterbacks are thought to be upgrades on their 2022 room, but it’s been rumored that they could add some receiving talent that should put them in an even better position, with Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy touted as a viable target.
The Broncos seemed undecided on whether they should trade any of their wideouts earlier in the offseason, yet Jeudy’s name continues to be the subject of rumors. The former Alabama star would fetch a better trade package than Courtland Sutton would and, should the Broncos opt to trade one of their pass catchers, it’s likely to be him.
The NFL Analysis Network, who floated the trade idea, points out that the Colts could offer a second and fourth-round pick for the 2023 Draft in exchange for the 24-year-old.
The Colts would do well to bring in additional talent while Richardson is still a rookie as it would help maximize their salary cap potential moving forward.

Jeudy would come in as a premium option for the slot and would also provide extra security in case Michael Pittman Jr. doesn’t return. The Broncos star has two years left on his deal as the fifth-year option has been triggered.
