After the retirement of Philip Rivers, the Indianapolis Colts find themselves back in the QB market once again this offseason.
If Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz did in fact demand a trade from the Eagles during the 2020 season, he might prefer his next NFL destination be to the Indianapolis Colts.
NFL reporter Evan Massey says the team has maintained a high level interest in trading for him if the Eagles do decided to move on from him. He also stated the team is intrigued with Jameis Winston as well.
Frank Reich boasts one of the best offensive lines in the NFL and could drastically help both Winston and Wentz if they were brought on.
Reich was Wentz’ former offensive coordinator with the Eagles in 2017, which was a season he was mentioned as an MVP candidate because he threw for 3,296 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions before he got hurt and his career got turned upside down.
Winston only got to throw it a total of eleven times in 2020, for a total of 75 yards and zero touchdowns.
