Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard has missed the last three games due to a concussion he described as “very severe” in an interview with The Athletic.
Leonard has a lot of time on his hands as he continues to get better, which gave him the opportunity to remember what was said about him when he got drafted.
Back in 2018, the Indianapolis Colts selected him the 2nd round and that would seem to be a head scratcher for Bleacher Report, because an article would soon be made calling him ‘one of the draft’s worst picks.’
Leonard took to Twitter on Monday and made sure to post a screenshot of that article and call them out for their words.
“Never believe anything you see from @BleacherReport report! That’s the same website that said…should’ve been lost their credibility”
In 2018, Leonard recorded 163 total tackles, seven sacks, two interceptions two fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles, and eight pass defenses.

That was good enough for him to be named the Associated Press 2018 Defensive Rookie of the Year.
