Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy has been nothing short of a disappointment this year.
Last week after his beef with Steve Smith Sr., Jeudy finished the game with a season-low 14 receiving yards, as the Broncos lost to their AFC West rival for the 16th consecutive time dating back to the 2015 season.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Jeudy winds up playing for another team by the end of this season.
In fact, there have been talks with the Indianapolis Colts before the NFL Trade Deadline in 12 days. The talks are about Jeudy and have been “extensive,” per Destin Adams.
Jeudy has just 20 catches on 29 targets for 222 yards in five games this season. He has yet to score a touchdown for the Russell Wilson-led offense, which ranks 27th in passing attempts. His underwhelming production and lack of a contract extension make him a viable candidate for a contender.
Denver selected Jeudy with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft after he made the All-SEC first team in back-to-back years at Alabama.
