Colts’ Adam Vinatieri Sounds Like A Man Who Is Going To Follow Andrew Luck In Retirement

Adam Vinatieri is not the Adam Vinatieri we used to know.

After another rough performance by the Indianapolis Colts kicker, the future hall of famer left reporters thinking his career was over.

Vinatieri, who missed two extra-point attempts in Week 2 after missing three kicks in Week 1, told reporters he would see them on Monday, even though he is not scheduled to speak.

Just grabbed Adam Vinatieri was he headed to the bus. He said “you’ll here from me tomorrow.” I told him we don’t see him tomorrow. And he said, “Yeah, you will.”

The 46-year-old kicker just might be calling it a career as his 24th NFL season.
