There’s a rumor going around that Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders has six NFL teams on his wish list as he heads into what is likely his final season of college football.
Assuming he declares for the 2025 NFL Draft next year, Shedeur Sanders is expected to be one of first quarterbacks selected. Sanders, Georgia’s Carson Beck and Texas’ Quinn Ewers are the consensus top three QBs eligible for the 2025 NFL Draft.
The NFL Rookie Watch X/Twitter account stated that Sanders would like to play for either of the following six NFL teams: The Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers or Washington Commanders:
For what it’s worth, Shedeur Sanders tried pouring cold water over the rumor and responded with this short-and-sweet message:
Shedeur’s father and Colorado head coach Deion Sanders previously stated that the QB and teammate Travis Hunter will refuse to play for certain teams (John Elway and Eli Manning pulled this off after being drafted by the Colts and Chargers, respectively).

Shedeur Sanders & Buffs Open Season vs. North Dakota State
The Buffaloes will look to begin the 2024 season on a high note when they host the North Dakota State Bison on Aug. 29. After that, they’ll begin a mini two-game road trip against the rival Nebraska Cornhuskers on Sept. 7.
Shedeur Sanders and Colorado jumped out to a stunning and perfect 3-0 start a year ago, highlighted by a season-opening win over the TCU Horned Frogs. The Buffs were unable to sustain the momentum, however, dropping eight of their final nine games to finish 4-8.
