Colin Kaepernick’s high profiled workout almost two weeks ago for NFL scouts, coaches, and executives has yet to generate any interest his way for a possible job.
However, somebody on that field is getting a chance to get into the league. Jordan Veasy, one of his many wide receivers from the workout, has earned an opportunity to tryout with the Cleveland Browns.
Veasy was among the six players who the Browns worked out on Monday.
Veasy played his college football at California, racking up 63 catches for 797 yards and nine touchdowns with the Golden Bears. However, he has yet to find a long-term home in the NFL, having been on practice squads of the Titans, Jaguars, Colts and most recently the Bills. He was released in October from Buffalo.
