If Colin Kaepernick wants to make a return to football, the former NFL quarterback appears to be making moves to make it happen.
NFL fans criticized former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick for turning down an opportunity to play quarterback in the XFL, but he has his sights on the league.
Kaepernick is fresh off sending a letter to the New York Jets after they lost Aaron Rodgers to injury. While head coach Robert Saleh was quick to hand the reigns to former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson, there was plenty of speculation concerning what the Jets could do to replace Rodgers under center.
J. Cole posted a letter written by Kaepernick addressed to Jets general manager Joe Douglas where he offered to be signed to their practice squad.
The Jets are not the only team he has his eyes on, apparently.
Kaepernick was recently seen hanging out with the team president of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Kaepernick’s last snap in the NFL came on Jan. 1, 2017. He actually worked out for the Raiders in May of 2022, but nothing came of it.
It remains to be seen if Kaepernick is on any NFL team’s radar, but the case he made for himself is now available for everyone to read.
The Raiders are on a three-game losing streak.
