It’s been seven years since Colin Kaepernick has taken a snap in an NFL game but he continued to remain a major topic of discussion.
Colin Kaepernick, who last played in the NFL in 2016, recently said on his girlfriend’s podcast that he does not celebrate Christmas.
“Colin, I have a question. What are you giving Nessa for Christmas?” Nessa’s co-host asked.
“We don’t celebrate Christmas,” Kaepernick replied.
Nessa said that the two of them do not like to give each other gifts. Instead, they like to gift experiences.

The debate over Colin Kaepernick and a potential return to the NFL has cooled off drastically since he hasn’t received many opportunities for a chance at a comeback.

It was revealed earlier this year that his agent reached out to the Jets following the injury to Aaron Rodgers. Rapper J. Cole posted a letter written by Kaepernick addressed to Jets general manager Joe Douglas on social media.
That letter had Kaepernick requesting to be signed to the practice squad.
Kaepernick’s last snap in the NFL came on Jan. 1, 2017. He actually worked out for the Raiders in May of 2022, but nothing came of it.
Colin Kaepernick was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the second-round of the 2011 NFL draft and was Alex Smith’s rookie backup.
In 69 career games for the team, Kaepernick threw for 12,271 yards and 72 touchdowns. He led the 49ers to the Super Bowl in 2013, where the team came up just short.
