With a handful of unimpressive backup quarterbacks taking snaps under center for their respective teams this week, former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick figured now would be a good time to remind everyone what he’s still available and ready to play.
Kaep took to Twitter to post a video of himself training with former 49ers teammate Eric Reid, as they two remain unemployed, despite being far more qualified than many of the players currently holding roster spots around the league.
In addition to the video, Kaepernick also posted the message, “1,363 days of being denied employment. Still putting in work with @E_Reid35 Still going hard 5 days a week. #StillReady#StopRunning.”
With names like Colt McCoy, Brandon Allen, and Kendall Hinton being thrust into action today, you’d have to think there are at least a few teams who could be considering a Kaepernick signing come Monday.
