Colin Kaepernick is back…..in Madden.
Fans began taking to social media to note that the free agent quarterback is in Madden NFL 22, despite him not playing in a game since the 2016 season.
He’s not only in the game, but he has a higher overall rating than Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert, Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins, and Jacksonville Jags QB Trevor Lawrence.
If you’re wondering why Kaepernick is in the game, it was announced in 2020 that EA Sports reached an agreement with him to add him back in the game.
Kaepernick, who last played in the NFL in 2016 with the San Francisco 49ers, has remained unsigned since the 2016 season after starting the movement of kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial injustice.
