Will Levis just wanted to share his body with the world, but not everybody liked it.
The Kentucky quarterback prospect, who’s projected to be a top-10 pick in this year’s NFL Draft, shared several before-and-after photos of himself without his shirt on via social media on Wednesday. He indicated that the injuries left him in the “worst shape” of his career, but suggested he’s turned things around and is now feeling better than he ever has.
FOX Sports 1’s Colin Cowherd absolutely hated everything about this and explained why.
“The knock on Will Levis is his decision-making during games. He might get good grades in college, but he makes bad decisions… Now, he’s releasing pictures and showing how jacked he is. There are no great quarterbacks in league history who look like bodybuilders, EVER. You want fluidity, and range of motion, NOT a bodybuilder. … The smart guys I talked to, the ‘gun show’ stuff is a turn-off. … This is a lack of self-awareness. Maybe he’s surrounded by too many of his guys and too many of his yes men. You don’t wanna be doing too many pictures in your bathroom like every loser on the internet after your workout to show how jacked you are. … Shirt off, bathroom? That’s what a meathead in New Jersey does to show off to his boys.”
During his final season in Lexington, Levis dealt with injuries to his foot, finger, and shoulder throughout the year. He was still able to pour in 2,406 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.

The NFL draft has seen several quarterbacks fall further than initially expected, and Will Levis could be the latest to drop. At the NFL Combine, he was measured as he came in at 6’4″ and 229 pounds, while also testing his broad jump (10’4″) and vertical leap (34 inches).
The Indianapolis Colts are among the NFL teams that have done their due diligence on him. In fact, there’s been leaguewide speculation regarding a potential pairing ahead of the NFL Draft.
It makes sense that the Colts, currently sitting at 4th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, to do their due diligence on Levis regarding his pre-draft evaluation. He is someone that could fit with new Colts head coach Shane Steichen’s offensive system.
Levis just might be the QB that can get this franchise out of this rut since Andrew Luck retired.
