Jimmy Garoppolo’s introductory press conference as the new quarterback of the Las Vegas Raiders, initially set for Thursday, was delayed. But the former San Francisco 49ers star was unveiled as a Raider this Friday and, admittedly, really looked the part.
Dressed in a tailored suit and wearing his best smile, Jimmy G spoke to reporters ahead of what he hopes will be a positive first season in Vegas.
Fox Sports radio host Colin Cowherd took to Twitter shortly after to share a photo of the QB, captioning it “Single. Vegas. Rich. QB. Interesting year ahead for Jimmy.”

Of course, Cowherd is suggesting Garoppolo will be a top commodity where females are concerned. He’s reportedly single, is one of the best-looking players in the NFL, and just signed a three-year deal reported to be worth $72.5 million. Sounds like quite the catch, right?
Cowherd has always been a big Jimmy Garoppolo fan so stuff like this is expected.
Meanwhile, the QB is coming off a campaign marred by injury in which he only played 11 games. He passed for 2,437 yards, 16 touchdowns, and four interceptions. Brock Purdy took the Niners the rest of the way but he suffered an injury as well, going off early after hurting his elbow in the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Following their benching and subsequent release of Dereke Carr, the Raiders will hope Jimmy G fares better in Josh McDaniels’ system.
