During Monday and Tuesday episodes of The Herd this week, Colin Cowherd was noticeably absent and it has fans wondering if he was okay or not.
As it turned out, he had a major health scare over the weekend that had him being taken to the emergency room.
Cowherd explained it all in an Instagram video where he said he was simply eating dinner with his wife and suddenly felt a “sharp pain” in the right side of his chest.
After taking a series of tests, doctors found a small blood clot in his right lung which was limiting his breathing. It should be noted that the blood clot was unrelated to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“They found, through the X-rays, that I had a small blood clot in my right lung,” Cowherd said via Instagram Tuesday night. “It was limiting my breathing. Again, it was scary. Good news, they tested me again for COVID and I didn’t have it. I’m waiting for some blood work. I have no idea why it happened.”
