Colin Cowherd is predicting which young drafted quarterback will be bad in 2023 and he is not mincing words about it.
The Fox Sports host is predicting that Texans QB CJ Stroud will fail, citing the idea that he isn’t talented enough to “overcome the Houston Texans nonsense.”
Cowherd goes on to say “If you told me today that I had to pick one (QB) that would miss (in this draft class), I would probably pick C.J. Stroud.”
The Houston Texans held their final training camp practice ahead of the preseason opener against the New England Patriots. Rookie QB C.J. Stroud will get his first taste of NFL action when he starts in that game.
Houston drafted Stroud out of Ohio State to be the next franchise quarterback, and he’s getting thrown right into the mix in his first professional game. Stroud is coming off a stellar season for the Buckeyes, completing 66 percent of his passes for 3,688 yards, 41 touchdowns, and just six interceptions.
Davis Mills, who has started 26 games for Houston over the last two seasons, will back up Stroud on Thursday night.

As we any QB, it will take some time to figure out who will actually be good once they get some games under their belt and if they can be good year after year like truly elite quarterbacks can.
