Cole Beasley is criticizing the team’s own fans when he took to Twitter and suggested he’s being booed because he refuses to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
“Only place I get boo’d is at our home stadium. Then some of the same people want me to take pictures and sign autographs. I thought bills fans were the best in the world? Where’d they go? If the vaccine works then why do vaxxed people need to be protected from unvaxxed? #letemin”
The Buffalo Bills Wide Receiver became one of the NFL’s most outspoken critics of the vaccine and restrictions in several viral social media posts over the summer. He even threatened to retire before being forced to be vaccinated in order to play in the league.
Back in July, Beasley read a prepared statement to the media where he claimed he would have no further comments on social media about the vaccine. He clearly did not stick to his word at all.
Bills Mafia quickly jumped in his comments and corrected his false claim.
“I was at the WFT game were you were killing it. We were yelling “BEASE!!!” No boos where I was sitting Cole. Keep doing what you’re doing. I’m glad you’re a Bill,” one Bills fan replied.

“I’ve been at every home game and literally no one boos you. We scream BEAAAASE after you make a great play,” wrote another.
“Bro they are saying ‘BEEEEEEEEEEESEEEE,’” a third fan replied.
Beasley has also slammed the entire idea of wearing mask after he got fined.
“Don’t worry they got me too. But I was wearing a mask when I was in close contact with fully vaxxed trainer who tested positive and still got sent home. So what’s the point of the mask anyways? Meanwhile I’m here still testing negative and can’t come back. Make it make sense.”
His tweet on Monday comes hours after the team’s 40-0 thrashing of the Houston Texans, in which Beasley had two catches for 16 yards. It was the second home game at Highmark Stadium since Erie County and the Bills implemented a mandatory vaccine policy. All fans in attendance had to show proof of having at least one dose of the vaccine. Proof of full vaccination will be required starting with the October 31 game against the Miami Dolphins.
The team has rebounded beautifully since losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
