Current Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is beefing with former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley this weekend.
Lamb is one of the most productive wideouts in the NFL at the moment; Beasley’s no slouch either.
After watching a video of his offseason workouts, the latter offered some unsolicited advice to the former that ended up turning into a back-and-forth.
“Man just do some heavy squats and power cleans,” he tweeted.
A Cowboys fan found it funny, given Lamb’s numbers.
“Is Cole really trying to tell CeeDee how to train?” they wrote. “Beasley has literally never eclipsed 1k yards,” the fan said. “Lamb is averaging 1,286 yards a year and 599 yards short of Cole in 4 years vs 11.”

Cole Beasley fired back, claiming he would touch 1,000 yards with 180 targets, urging the fan to pay more attention to tape than stats.
“Give me 180 targets off the couch and I eclipse 1000. Stop looking at stats and check the tape,” he replied. “As far as getting open goes…I’m confident I did that with the best of them.”
CeeDee Lamb Entered The Chat…
Lamb eventually caught wind of the exchange and took a swipe at the veteran WR.
“I don’t need 180 targets to touch a band,” Lamb said. “Pull up tape, I’d match you route for route on getting open. Just Chill.”
Cole Beasley hadn’t responded to CeeDee Lamb’s comment at the time of writing
As for the current Cowboys star, he has made 395 receptions for 5,145 yards and 32 touchdowns since entering the league.
He’s currently involved in a contract standoff with the team.
