Cole Beasley has been trending on social media for hours even though he had actually not done or said anything….until now.
Earlier today, the NFL sent out a memo showing the penalties if a COVID-19 outbreak occurs in 2021.
According to NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero, “If a game is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled within the current 18-week scheduled due to a Covid outbreak, neither team’s players will receive their weekly paragraph 5 salary.” A game could also be cancelled and the infected team forfeits, takes the loss for playoff seeding and the team could face additional sanctions if protocols were violated.
Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley, who has been against the vaccine for months, started trending on Twitter almost immediately.
Soon, Beasley would take to Twitter and made it clear that his stance would not be chnaging.
“Nothing has changed. I’m still livin freely. Goodnight.”

On Tuesday, Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley responded to a ProFootballTalk tweet regarding vaccination incentives in the NFL by saying, “I’ll get vaccinated and be an advocate for it if Pfizer puts a percentage of its earnings from the vaccine in my wife’s name.”
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban called Beasley’s bluff, offering to buy the former Cowboys receiver’s wife a share in Pfizer stock if Beasley gets vaccinated and promotes the vaccine on his social media platforms.
“I’ll tell you what Cole. You get vaccinated and promote vaccination on all your social, I’ll buy your wife a share of Pfizer stock. It pays a 3.78% dividend. That way she is getting a percentage of Pfizer’s earnings. Deal ?”
Beasley never responded back.
