Cole Beasley was released by the Buffalo Bills back in March and he has been a free agent ever since as the new season draws near.
The 33-year-old Beasley still doesn’t have a job and fans online are trolling him like crazy, especially after he came off a year where he gave a strong stance against the COVID-19 vaccine.
Beasley would take to Twitter to remind his naysayers that regardless of what they might say against him, he still has something left in the tank.
“All these ‘unemployed jokes like I don’t have the skill anymore. You don’t go from drawing double teams in the playoffs to not having it anymore within a few months,” Beasley wrote. “I still grabbed 80 catches with three broken ribs for half of them. No games missed. Don’t get it twisted.”
He also added that two teams have reached out with offers this offseason.

Mike Garafolo reported in July there was “significant” interest in the free agent WR. He added Beasley is waiting for the “right opportunity.” He says the money has to be right, as Beasley won’t play for the veteran minimum, and ideally he’d like to be on a contending roster.
In 2021, Beasley appeared in 16 games for the Bills and caught 82 passes for 693 yards receiving and a touchdown.
