Cole Beasley is calling out the National Football League.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie took to Twitter on Thursday and shared a letter he received from the NFL informing him of multiple violations of the NFL and NFLPA’s protocols surrounding COVID-19. According to McKenzie, he was fined $14,650 for multiple instances of not wearing a mask inside the facility.
Cole Beasley eventually logged on and called out the league on its hyprocrisy.
“Don’t worry they got me too. But I was wearing a mask when I was in close contact with fully vaxxed trainer who tested positive and still got sent home. So what’s the point of the mask anyways? Meanwhile I’m here still testing negative and can’t come back. Make it make sense.”
The Bills’ WR room contains several unvaccinated players, which could result in an additional receiver on the team’s roster to guard against mandatory quarantines for exposures. Cole Beasley and Gabe Davis are both on five-day quarantines right now.
