The Cleveland Browns are diving headfirst into a new era.
They might not be a Super Bowl contender, but at least the team has a new logo.
The Browns unveiled their new logo on Monday, which was created by Houston Mark and voted on by the fans.
The Browns’ social media account announced the news.

Here are just a few of the reactions:
Mark included various hidden images in the logo to represent the Browns’ fanbase and the team’s history.
Via Sports Illustrated:
“In a breakdown of the logo, there is an outline of Ohio in the dog’s ear, a football for its nose, the east end zone, and a guitar pick (paying homage to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) in the dog’s collar, spikes for the team’s “intensity,” Cleveland’s Hope Memorial Bridge below the jowls, the team’s iconic pound helmet as one of the dog’s eyebrow and the helmet stripe sketched between the dog’s eyebrows.”
As for the product on the field, the team is coming off a bad year in 2022 in which they finished the season 7-10 and in dead last in the AFC North. They went 4-4 at home and 3-6 on the road.
Quarterback is the most important position in football. The Browns are hoping that Deshaun Watson is the QB they’ve been looking for.
They only had him for several games in 2022 as he had to serve his suspension from sexually related crimes off the field.
A full offseason and training camp has the front office thinking things might be different in 2023.
