The Cleveland Browns caused a United Airlines flight to be delayed after their alleged behavior during their charter jet back from training camp. Rumors circulating around the NFL indicate that the Browns left trash all over a plane they chartered for training camp.
Flight UA1893 was supposed to depart from Washington DC and head to San Francisco Monday, but was forced to be delayed by 36 minutes due to a major cleanup. Gate agents had to explain to upset passengers waiting to board their flight that the plane ‘had been used to charter a professional sports team earlier that day.’
Once passengers were aboard, the pilot explained that “It was the most disgusting he’s seen a plane in his career.” He even said the plane was ‘full of garbage, spilled food and drink everywhere, etc.”
NFL fans were truly grossed out by the situation.

Special food menus with the Browns’ logo were found tucked in seatbacks, so it would be hard for anybody on the team to deny that this behavior came from them.
This is the exact type of headline that the Browns want to avoid ahead of a huge season.
The team already had a hectic offseason in 2022 when they traded for QB Deshaun Watson despite so many lawsuits against him from women alleging sexual assault or misconduct. Watson did not have a full season to play due to an 11-game suspension he had to serve. He played badly, but that was expected for a guy who hadn’t played in a regular season game since 2020.
Watson now comes into the most important season of his career, but everybody is expecting him to return to the player he was while playing in Houston.
Watson made his long-awaited return to the field last season after sitting out the entire 2021 season and then serving an 11-game suspension to begin 2022 for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. In six games with the Cleveland Browns, Watson completed 58.2 percent of his passes for 1,102 yards and seven touchdown passes with five interceptions.
