Cleveland’s Cade York lined up for a potential game-tying 60-yard field goal attempt with 2:01 left, and it was deflected wide and left by Malik Harrison.
However, it seems that the Browns were screwed by a bad call by the refs.
Refs called a false start on the Browns offensive line on a field goal attempt late in the fourth quarter. Video shows that no member of the team moved at all. Rather, it was a member of the Baltimore Ravens who was clearly offside on the play.
That should have moved the Browns 5-yards closer on their game-tying attempt, not five-yards further. Have a look:
The Browns lost their fourth straight to fall to 2-5 on the season, while the Ravens improved to 4-3.
The Bengals, who come to town next week on Monday Night Football, beat the Falcons in Cincinnati to improve to 4-3 and stay in a tie for first with Baltimore.
