The Cleveland Browns could use a boost in the WR department this off-season.
The team is hoping to have Deshaun Watson return to the player he was when he was in Houston. To help him do that, they have a list of players they are interested in.
Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com says the team has six wide receivers “on their radar” as they enter free agency.
The list includes Brandin Cooks, Elijah Moore, Mecole Hardman, DJ Chark, Adam Thielen, and Odell Beckham Jr.
The most shocking name on that list is Odell Beckham Jr. since the team released him during the 2021 season after his father posted a lowlight reel of Baker Mayfield missing his son on the field. Despite Baker being gone, Odell likely does not ever want to play for the franchise again.
Beckham spent two-and-a-half seasons with the Browns. His best season with the franchise came in 2019 when he caught 74 passes for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games. He tore his ACL during the Super Bowl with L.A., and he sat out the entire 2022 season while recovering from the injury. He is now looking for his next team.

The Browns have a solid group of receivers entering 2023 with Amari Cooper, Donovan Peoples-Jones, David Bell, Anthony Schwartz, and Jakeem Grant still on the roster. However, they would need another elite talent to pair with Cooper.
The standout WR led the team in 2022 with 78 catches for 1,160 yards and nine touchdowns in 17 games. His numbers would’ve likely been much better if Watson wasn’t suspended for the first 11 games of the year.
Peoples-Jones ranked second with 61 catches for 839 yards and three scores.
