Roughing the passer has lost all meaning. That was proven yet again on Sunday when a Cleveland Browns defensive player simply pushed Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray in the back, but was still called for a penalty on the play.
The shove wasn’t even hard enough to knock Murray off his feet. He merely took a few steps back, but that was all the refs needed to see.

This needs to be addressed in the offseason. The NFL can’t continue to ruin games with terrible roughing the passer calls like this. Perhaps an official review on these sorts of plays would help? Whatever the case may be, the NFL needs to do something before this ends up deciding a Super Bowl.
