Very little has gone right for the Cleveland Browns during a disappointing 2024 season, but they’re at least dominating the entire AFC in the most random category.
One year after riding Comeback Player of the Year Joe Flacco to an 11-6 finish and postseason appearance, the Cleveland Browns have cratered in every aspect this year. They enter Week 16 with a 3-14 record, tied with four other clubs for the second-worst record in football.
If it’s any consolation for Browns fans, though, get this: Your team has won the coin toss 11 of 14 times this season, good for a .786 win percentage. That’s tied with the Washington Commanders and Minnesota Vikings for the best coin toss win rate in the league.
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts are a distant second in the AFC behind the Cleveland Browns, having won the coin toss eight of 16 times.
